Set Up / Tear Down - We're basically a mobile church and therefore there's always need for assistance in helping us set up and tear down equipment.
Food Servers - After our program children and families are always provided a free meal. We rely on volunteers to help us serve children, parents, and adults as they come.
Helpers - Servant minded people are needed who are willing to jump in and serve wherever necessary.
Teachers - From the preaching of God's word, to object lessons, to lessons on prayer and giving - we need people who are willing to teach children.
Leaders - Various leadership roles are available from leading worship, to leading registration, overseeing games, leading worship, and more.
Worship Team - Every week we have songs, dancing, and lyrics available for kids to sing along. People are needed to help us in leading children to worship and praise Jesus.
Prayer Team - God's constantly exposing needs in our community. We are in need of prayer warriors who are willing to intercede for God's children and our community. Click here for more information.
Data Entry - We need people who don’t mind entering information into data bases so that we can more effectively care for people in need.
Program Administration - We need people who don’t mind helping with various tasks to better help us care for people. There's a lot of preparation that goes into preparing for our program and outreach events. Assistance is needed to help with printing, copying, making flyers, creating poster boards, and more.
Every week we personally visit children on our roster who either attend Sidewalk Sunday School regularly or have participated in an outreach event. Visitations are a way for us to build more meaningful relationships with children, parents, families, and people in our community.
We also celebrate children's birthday's by providing them with a special gift. We need people who are willing to pray for and visit children and their families. We visit children every week but we are flexible and can use help with visitations:
Snow Cone Outreaches - During hot months we'll occasionally offer free snow cones for everyone in the communities we serve. We partner with local family owned businesses that help us serve our community in this way.
Hot Dog Outreaches - These outreaches are focused more on serving the entire community by offering them free hot dogs. Children are encouraged to bring their siblings, parents, family, and friends for a free meal.
Outdoor Family Movie Nights - Throughout the year we offer free outdoor family movie nights. We'll set up a large movie screen in the community, serve snacks and refreshments, and watch together a gospel centered film.
Special Events - Check out our Events page for more information on some of our major events we host throughout the year.
