Giving

We never ask  anyone to give to our ministry but rather through our ministry. Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive". We only desire to receive so that we can give. Every contribution made allows us to fulfill our mission to raise up generations who love the Lord and live to obey God.

Ongoing Needs

Prizes

We're constantly in need of prizes for boys and girls ages 4 to 12. We ask for new or lightly used prizes around $10. Contact us if this is an area you'd like to help us.

Snacks

Every week throughout our programming children are given snacks. For a list of specific snack needs during our current season click here.

Meals 4 Children

Meals 4 Children

Every week we provide meals for children and families in the community. For a list of specific meal needs during our current season click here.

Other Needs

Benevolence

These funds are specifically allocated to helping families in need. We often have families who can't afford food, are on the verge of being evicted, who need help with gas and more.

Support for the Future

  • Missionary Support - We envision an internship program where we host interns, typically in the summer, for an extended period of time. Interns will receive daily, hands on, experience in ministry.
  • 15 Passenger Vans - We believe God's going to provide us transportation that will allow us to take children on field trips. These vans will also allow us to reach other apartment complexes.
  • Operating Facility - Most of what we do will always happen in the community but we also believe God will eventually provide us a central home base for the ministry.
  • 6' X 12' Enclosed Cargo Trailer - We're currently limited by our means of transportation. A cargo trailer will allow us more space but it'll also make it easier for loading and unloading equipment.
  • Programming - We believe God's going to multiply our efforts to reach children and families in our community. Starting in the spring we anticipate launching Sidewalk Sunday School at another apartment complex.
  • Administration Support - The more we grow the more our administrative costs increase. This includes but is not limited to printing, toner, software, and postage.

School Supplies

These donations, collected throughout the year, will go to our Sidewalk School Supplies event in August.  Our goal is to provide every child we serve with backpacks and school supplies for the new school year.

Sidewalk Thanksgiving

Every year we depend on partnerships with individuals, churches, non profits, and business to provide a Thanksgiving meal for families in communities we serve.

Sidewalk Christmas

Throughout the year we collect Christmas Gifts 4 Kids. These donations will go to our Sidewalk Christmas event in December.  Our goal is to provide every child in need with Christmas gifts but more importanlyt to lead them to the greatest gift ever given, Jesus.

If there's a specific area you want to give or support please make a note  in the memo or email us so we can make sure funds are allocated appropriately.

Partnership

We believe God has called us as part of this ministry to collaborate and to work collectively with the community and the Church. Partnerships are essential to accomplishing the greater work God has called us to reach children across the community, our nation, and to the ends of the earth. We seek partnership with churches, ministries, businesses, and individuals that will assist us in an ongoing consistent capacity.

How can I partner?

Partners provide regular support in various ways. Some of the contributions our partners make include but are not limited to:

  • Financial assistance
  • Providing meals for kids
  • Volunteer support
  • Administrative support
  • Providing prizes and snacks for kids
  • Special event support

How frequently must I give to be a partner?

There's no specific requirement but partners do give on a consistent ongoing basis either:

  1. Weekly;
  2. Monthly;
  3. Bi-Monthly;
  4. Semi-Annually;
  5. Annually; or
  6. Special Events

Special Events

Throughout the year we have several main events we host in the community. Our biggest events are Sidewalk Thanksgiving and Sidewalk Christmas for Kids.

For Churches, Non Profits, or Businesses

Opportunities are available for groups of people to serve with us. If you are interested in partnering with us by bringing a group of people to serve please contact us.

During the summer we envision offering VBS programs throughout various apartment complexes in Pasadena. If you already have VBS curriculum you use or if you need curriculum we can work with you.

A huge part of our ministry is mobilizing people to serve in the community. We present opportunity for people to experience the goodness of God through a movement where the Church is the people, a people called to serve.
